Tod has more than eight years of experience managing email programs, with target audiences that include Hill staff, political and industry thought leaders, and CEOs and other C-Suite leaders.

He is comfortable working with CRMs/AMS or using third-party email clients, such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, and is familiar with audience engagement and management best practices. His designs are mobile responsive, conform with accessibility rules, and are designed to be viewed across multiple clients (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! etc.).

The Forum Newsletter

This design highlights major stories from The Forum, a digital journal published monthly for NOSSCR members. The email leverages Mailchimp functionality to allow email authors to add new entries on demand and toggle between featured articles and highlighted events. To preserve the design and ensure functionality across all clients, the image sizes are hardcoded in; the email is also designed to move the image above the text on mobile displays, creating a better mobile experience.

ACHP Advocacy Update

This design was for a monthly newsletter highlighting ACHP’s advocacy efforts and achievements. The email was broken into multiple sections; section headers are imposed on an image background for accessibility purposes, with a simple color background (ACHP blue) as a fallback if the image doesn’t load. The email is mobile responsive and meets accessibility requirements.
